Visit to Japan by H.E. Mr. Hailemariam Desalegn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia
TOKYO, Japan, November 29, 2011/African Press Organization (APO)/ — From Thursday, December 1 to Monday, December 5, H.E. Mr. Hailemariam Desalegn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, will visit Japan as a guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
During his stay, Deputy Prime Minister Hailemariam will meet with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Koichiro Gemba, and is also scheduled to visit relevant organizations and exchange opinions with representatives of private-sectors companies.
Last year marked the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ethiopia, and the two countries maintain amicable relations. It is hoped that Japan and Ethiopia’s amicable and cooperative relationship will be strengthened further by this visit to Japan by Deputy Prime Minister Hailemariam.
