United Nations, European Union and Liberian Government partners will speak on progress made in enhancing food security and nutrition in Liberia at UNMIL Press Briefing
MONROVIA, Liberia, December 13, 2011/African Press Organization (APO)/ — UNMIL will host its weekly press briefing at its Pan African Plaza Headquarters in Sinkor at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 14 December 2011. The following people will be present to address the press:
Deputy Ministry of Agriculture, Hon. James B. Logan
EU Food Facility Representative, Mr. Adolfo Cires Alonso
UN Representative, Lansana Wonneh
UNMIL Spokesperson Yasmina Bouziane will moderate the press briefing
Participants will brief the media on 14 December 2011, on progress made in enhancing food security and nutrition in Liberia since the launch of the Food Security and Nutrition Joint Programme in 2008. The briefing will also focus on the EU Food Facility Funding for the Joint Programme, and its impact.
