Statement by the Press Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, on the Situation in Burkina Faso

TOKYO, Japan, November 5, 2014/African Press Organization (APO)/ — 1. Japan is concerned by the current situation in Burkina Faso from October 30 which evolved from the debate of the constitutional amendment.

2. The Government of Japan calls for restraint from all the actors concerned and urges a peaceful resolution of the situation through the dialogue.
