Sixty-third Session of WHO’s Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean

The Sixty-third Session of WHO’s Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean will take place this year in Cairo, Egypt, from 3 to 6 October. The Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean is WHO’s decision-making body in the Region. It meets each year to formulate regional policies designed to protect public health and respond to common public health threats.

The meeting will be attended by ministers of health and high-level representatives of the 22 countries of WHO’s Eastern Mediterranean Region. WHO’s main health partners will also be in attendance.

The media is cordially invited to attend the opening session, which will take place on Monday 3 October from 15:30 to 17:00 at the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean, Abdel Razzak Sanhouri street Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt.
