– This stunning short film by Kenyan director Wanuri Kahiu attracted admirers from all over the world when it premièred at the Sundance festival
– Set in a dystopian future after water wars have torn the world apart it is a beautifully crafted film, with special effects provided in part by the team behind futuristic shocker District 9
– Following the screening the director joins Charles Thompson MBE in conversation. Charles is the associate producer of Mirror Boy, a fantasy adventure set in London and Gambia. It was the first African film to have a Leicester Square premiere, and is now enjoying an extended run in Odeon cinemas. Thompson is also the CEO of the Screen Nation Film & TV Awards; a platform designed to raise the profile of black British and international film and television talent.
