WHAT: Within the framework of the ECOWAS Day celebration in Addis Ababa, the Economic Commission of West African States (ECOWAS) will, in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC), hold a press conference to mark the Day.
Theme: The role of regional Economic Communities in Fast Tracking the actualization of the African Economic Community/African Agenda 2063.
WHEN: Thursday, 29 May 2014
– Opening session at 10:00am
– Press conference at 2:00pm
WHERE: AU Headquarters, medium conference hall.
WHO: The press conference will be addressed by:
– The Vice President of ECOWAS,
– Amb. of Ghana to Ethiopia, and
– Representative of ECOWAS parliament
Journalists are invited to attend the event on Thursday, 29 May 2014 at the African Union Conference Complex (medium conference hall).
