President of the Republic of Senegal to Visit Japan

H.E. Mr. Macky SALL, President of the Republic of Senegal, will pay an Official Working Visit to Japan from December 17 to 20.

During his stay in Japan, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a meeting and host a working lunch with President Sall.

On the occasion of his visit to Japan, President Sall is expected to exchange views on how to further strengthen bilateral relations, based on the outcome of the Eighth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD8), among others, as well as on the situation in Ukraine and the strengthening of the functions of the United Nations including the reform of the Security Council.

It is expected that this visit will further deepen the friendship between Japan and Senegal.
