The Mend (Movement for the emancipation of Niger Delta) said that the offer of the Federal Government is ‘unrealistic’.
The Nigerian government offered an amnesty to the militants of the Niger delta.
The news is reported on Facebook by reporter Kayode Ogundamisi citing BNP News.
“MEND and the Niger Delta people – it’s written in a comment quoting MEND Spokesperson, Jomo Gbomo – will only subscribe to a holistic peace process where the United Nations and reputable international mediators will be active participants”.
