Minister Kubayi-Ngubane to Speak at the Science Forum South Africa 2017

The Minister of Communications, Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane will on Thursday, 7 December 2017 attend the third Science Forum South Africa at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) taking place under the theme: “Igniting conversation about Science”.

The Science Forum South Africa is Africa's largest “open science” event, aimed at igniting a vibrant debate on the role of science in society.

The two-day programme comprises of plenary panel debates, short seminars and talks, with the participation of local and international thought leaders from the scientific community.

Minister Kubayi-Ngubane will deliver a speech in the session Science Journalism: Maximising Outreach, Impact and Understanding scheduled for 7 December 2017 from 09:00 – 10:30 at CSIR Convention Centre.
