The Italian minister also said that with Clinton he talked about Middle East (Siria, Lebannon and other countries) and of the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
After stressing the importance of the alliance with Italy, the American secretary of state said that she is worried about the situation in Siria and for the use of violence by the regime to stop the protests.
Clinton also said that with Bin Laden’s death, the war on terrorism does not stop.
Earlier Frattini also said that “with the progressing of the war on terror, security costs are lowering”.
“The reason why we are in Libya – the Italian minister said – is the protection of civilians”.
