Health Principal Secretary Susan Mochache had a meeting with UNICEF Country Representative Maniza Zaman on the ongoing reforms in the Ministry of Health parastatals, KEMSA and NHIF among others.The PS reiterated that reforms are aimed at improving efficiency to reposition the Ministry to effectively respond to emerging Public Global Health issues.
They explored ways of ensuring the hard to reach areas are not left behind in the ongoing COVID-19 Vaccination and other routine immunization.
They also discussed the importance of communication and health promotion to encourage the healthy lifestyles among Kenyans.
