Jumia firstly launched a contest on social networks to allow a family to live an early Christmas fairytale. The principle of the game: posting a creative and original family picture on Jumia’s Facebook page from December 13 to 15. The winner of the contest, Mrs. Amour, was delivered Wednesday, December 17 in the morning at her home in Kumassi by Santa Claus in person and Fatoumata Ba , Managing Director of Jumia Côte d’Ivoire.
Gifts were given to each member of her family: a TV, a watch for daddy, a bag for mommy, and several toys for the young Michael, who developed a wonderful friendship with Santa Claus. It was a moment rich in emotions for the Amour family “We could not hope for better gifts for Christmas! Santa Claus brightened our day ” highlighted Mrs. Love repeatedly.
But Christmas magic does not stop there! From today until Christmas Jumia customers will receive Pecto candies and chewing gums and Jumia deliverers will be dressed as Santa Claus to make each delivery a unique moment.
