The Indonesian Ambassador to Khartoum, Sunarko visited the Sulawesi Sudan Family Harmony Secretariat (KKS) as part of efforts to foster Indonesian society, especially Indonesian students who are in Sudan.
KKS is a student association originating from the Sulawesi region which was inaugurated by the Sudanese Indonesian Students Association (PPI Sudan) in January 2021.
On this occasion, Ambassador Sunarko conveyed to the KKS committee the importance of Indonesian students studying abroad to make the best use of the opportunity to finish their studies on time with satisfactory academic achievements.
The Ambassador also advised that family organizations could become a means and place to spur creativity as well as a forum for sharing experiences, motivation and mutual support to maintain and maintain harmony and unity among Indonesian students.
Ambassador Sunarko also encouraged Indonesian students in Sudan to play an active role in supporting efforts to strengthen relations between the people of the two countries in the framework of people to people contacts through various activities on campus and other activities to promote the diversity of Indonesian arts, culture and culinary amidst Sudanese society. .
The elected Head of KKS, Yusril Arham was very happy and appreciated the visit of Indonesian Ambassador Sunarko to the KKS Secretariat to discuss together, and convey the conditions and developments of students from various regions in Sulawesi and its surroundings, which currently has a total of 86 students.
The dialogue and evening talk were closed with a group photo and enjoying a dish of Indonesian specialties, namely green bananas typical of Makassar, Sulawesi.
