High Representative Federica Mogherini announces senior appointments

Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the Commission, announced today the appointment of 17 new Heads of EU Delegations in the framework of the regular rotation for this year.

Ranieri SABATUCCI has been appointed as Head of the EU Delegation to the African Union. He is currently serving Head of Division for relations with South East Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) within the EEAS.

John O'ROURKE has been appointed as Head of the EU Delegation to Algeria. He is currently serving as Head of Division for GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries, Iraq and Yemen.

Adam KULACH has been appointed as Head of the EU Delegation to Djibouti. He is currently serving as Head of the EU Delegation to Saudi Arabia.

Patrice BERGAMINI has been appointed as Head of the EU Delegation to Tunisia. He is currently serving as Head of Division for Regional Policies for the Southern Mediterranean within the EEAS.
