Officials of the French airport of Lyon on Tuesday announced in Kinshasa that they would undertake a project to renovate 54 airports in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Speaking during a meeting with DRC Prime minister Adolphe Muzito, the manager of the Development and Modernisation Project at Lyon Airport, Eugene Lufe, said it would consist mainly of the transfer of know-how to officials of DRC’s airport authority.
The project manager at Lyon airport, Roger Forneris, announced that a model for the training of senior executives would be implemented.
Lyon airport is already working in partnership with Malian airport authority.
