To mark the opening of this destination, Ahmad Elhage, General Manager of TAC, has organised a cocktail party in Pointe-Noire, a city located on the Atlantic coast and the second-largest city in the Republic of the Congo. This is a chance for the Lebanese community to welcome the introduction of this direct flight between Brazzaville and Beirut.

Jean-Louis Osso, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ECAir, recalled the importance of cooperation among African airlines: “This partnership between ECAir and TAC is an excellent example of cooperation. Strengthening the ties among African airlines is absolutely essential to allow them to extend their network across the continent. We are very pleased with this partnership. “

Ahmad Elhage, General Manager of TAC, stated: “For the Lebanese community based in central Africa, it was not easy to return to the home country. Sometimes there are long stopovers, going through Paris, Dubai or Addis Ababa. Now we will be able to reach Beirut in the blink of an eye, in a few hours, it’s a game changer! It’s a good thing that two airlines have come together to offer this to their passengers! “

In the next few weeks, ECAir, official carrier of the All-Africa Games (4–19 September in Brazzaville), will extend its regional network with the opening of service to the destinations of Abidjan, Yaoundé, Luanda, Bangui and N’Djamena.

ECAir, which has already carried close to one million passengers, will be organising the 47th General Meeting of AFRAA from 8 to 10 November in Brazzaville.
