Didier Reynders condemns Bardo Museum attack in Tunis

BRUSSELS, Kingdom of Belgium, March 19, 2015/African Press Organization (APO)/ — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders condemns the attack at the Bardo Museum in Tunis today, that killed and injured numerous people. The Minister expresses his condolences to the families and friends of the victims and to the Tunisian people and government. He stresses the solidarity of Belgium with Tunisia.

Didier Reynders reiterates his confidence in the Tunisian democratic institutions. Belgium, bilaterally and within the EU, will continue to support the consolidation of democracy in Tunisia as well as the necessary reforms for its economic and social transition, to the benefit of all Tunisians.

The Minister discussed these challenges and objectives during the meeting with his Tunisian counterpart Taieb Baccouche in Brussels on Monday, March 16th.
