A ‘country presentation‘ for Angola will take place tomorrow in Rome, at the Foreign office headquarter called ‘Farnesina’. The meeting will start at 10 am.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is the first in a series of “Country Presentations” to promote greater economic interaction between Africans and Italians to put bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit.
The presentation will be introduced by the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Franco Frattini, by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Adolfo Urso. Representatives of the ICE, the SIMEST and SACE will also be present.
The President of the National Agency for Private Investment in Angola, Aguinaldo Jaime, will illustrate opportunities and conditions for investment in his country. Specialists in certain priority areas for Angola will also intervene.
“The program of “Country Presentations” – as written in a press release from Farnesina – will attract attention initially on the countries in which Italian companies are already operating or in which they recently manifested a business interest”.
The Angola “Country Presentation” will be followed by the presentation of Nigeria on June 16, Senegal and Sierra Leone on July 21 and Gabon scheduled on late September.
