Kenya increased its medal tally to 7 after clinching three gold, and two bronze medals in the ongoing all Africa games in Maputo, Mozambique. Brothers Jason and David Dunford were both victorious in the men’s 50m butterfly and the 100m freestyle finishing first in the two events. The men’s canoeing team also secured gold in their event. However, the women’s volleyball team settled for the bronze medal, with Anthony Fondo finishing third in the kumite category of the karate event. Meanwhile in boxing two Kenyans have qualified for the quarter finals.
