Finland will hold its parliamentary elections on Sunday 2 April 2023. Advance voting will be possible in Tunisia from 22 to 24 March 2023. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is responsible for organising advance voting abroad.

The advance polling stations abroad will be located in Finland's diplomatic and consular missions or their offices in 86 different countries. A total of 216 advance polling stations will be open abroad.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is responsible for organising advance voting in Finland’s missions abroad and on board Finnish ships sailing outside the Finnish territory during the advance voting period.

The Ministry of Justice has the overall responsibility for conducting the elections. The Ministry has published a list of the advance polling stations and their opening hours on the Electionsfinland.fi website.

Voting by post will also be possible in connection with the parliamentary elections. Information on the important dates for postal voting, instructions and a form for ordering the postal voting documents are available at Electionsfinland.fi.

Regardless of domicile, every Finnish citizen who has reached the age of 18 not later than on the day of the election is entitled to vote in parliamentary elections. A passport or some other official ID must be presented at the polling station. The notice of right to vote may be presented but voting is possible also without it.
