We copy and paste a message received on Facebook about the W.Tec camp to be held in August this year in Lagos, Nigeria.
This year is their second edition.
W.TEC is now accepting nominations for the 2nd edition of its Girls Technology Camp.
Targeted at Nigerian secondary school girls, the 1-week residential camp will take place in Lagos in August 2009.
It is aimed at helping girls develop an early interest in computers and other ICTs, as well as enabling them develop positive images of technology-related careers.
Nominations should be sent by Friday, May 29th, 2009 via:
