H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin Pays a Courtesy Call on H.E. Vice President Muhammad B. S. Jallow

On 5 April, H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin paid a courtesy call on H.E. Vice President Muhammad B. S. Jallow at the State House.

H.E. Ambassador Liu conveyed the cordial greetings from H.E. Chinese Vice President Han Zheng to H.E. VP Jallow. H.E. Ambassador Liu said that since the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and The Gambia seven years ago, our bilateral relations have developed healthily and steadily, political mutual trust has been continuously deepened, and cooperation in various areas has achieved fruitful outcomes. China appreciates The Gambia's adherence to the one-China policy, and is willing to work together with The Gambia to promote China-Gambia relations and benefit the two peoples.

H.E. VP Jallow thanked China for its long-term and strong support for The Gambia's economic and social development, saying that he attaches great importance to Gambia-China relations, and is willing to further deepen cooperation in areas such as agriculture, electricity, and people-to-people exchanges. The Gambian Government firmly adheres to the one-China policy.
