Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made an inspection tour of the Military Academy. The President was accompanied by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, General Mohamed Zaki, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Osama Askar, and senior commanders of the Armed Forces.
The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the President participated in a number of activities and exercises included in the cadets’ daily fitness routine which aims to help maintain their physical fitness. The President also witnessed the military training exercises that are conducted in accordance with the latest systems in this regard. These exercises showed the new cadets’ self-confidence and high level of discipline during the military preparation period.
The President also inspected a number of training areas, including the swimming pool, fitness areas, CrossFit arena, equestrian area, and the battlefield simulation field, in which he witnessed the cadets’ shooting exercise.
President El-Sisi praised the good preparation of the new cadets and called on them to maintain their fitness and high physical and mental readiness, and to hold the lofty and noble military values that have always characterized the long-standing Egyptian Armed Forces institution. The President also had an open discussion with the new cadets on several local and regional topics and issues, pointing out the efforts made by the Egyptian state in various fields so that they can properly assess the situation on a sound basis.
During his tour of inspection, President El-Sisi met with some of the new cadets’ families while visiting their sons in the Academy. His Excellency expressed his appreciation to them for the effort they made to raise their sons to be patriotic.
