Kristalina Georgieva, European High Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response, was live on Aljazeera English. She has recently traveled to Somalia and witnessed a sad reality, a scenario of famine and devastation. The Commissioner talked about the famine horn in Africa, the risk of a failed state, reaction to Obama opening up for aid, problems in getting aid in there an deal with the Government, and the mistake in not planning ahead and creating bigger resilience and droughts.
