First-of-its-kind platform enables VALORANT (https://bit.ly/36EF3Hs) gamers to win rewards for content created and shared on social media; Prizes for the best and most-innovative content will win up to 10,000 VALORANT Points, which can in turn be used to buy in-game cosmetics and items.

RIOT Games MENA has today launched ‘Take Your Shot’, a first of its kind mission-based content platform that gives VALORANT gamers in the Middle East the chance to win rewards for creative content posted on their own social media channels.

To keep things fresh for gamers, Take Your Shot will revolve around a series of unique monthly missions designed on gameplay categories such as Best Aces, Wholesome Gaming, or Best Line Ups. Every month, players will vote for their favourite user-generated content submissions, with the top 10 being flagged to the team at RIOT Games to decide who will take first, second and third place – which come with ultimate bragging rights and thousands of VALORANT Points to prove it.

The submissions that receive the most amount of votes each month will win 10,000 VALORANT points (VP) with 6,000 VP and 3,000 VP for second and third respectively. Points can be used to purchase in-game items, agent contracts, or be saved to put towards the next set of Ultra Weapon Skins.

“VALORANT is a community and launching the ‘Take Your Shot’ initiative allows us to bring players from across the Middle East together like never before,” said Karim Hachani, Head of Publishing at RIOT Games MENA. “This region is hugely important to us and we’re confident introducing this platform is the ideal way to engage and build rapport between gamers in the market. This platform also plays perfectly into the incredible growth of creativity we are seeing across the region. Our players' skills and creativity, both in-game and out, never ceases to amaze us and we can’t wait to see what hidden talent Take Your Shot helps us uncover.”

“We also plan to add more prizes in the future as the platform evolves and we see what the initial user reception and feedback are like. Rest assured we will be growing this platform with our gamers’ preferences in mind.”

VALORANT players looking to become a part of Take My Shot will need to choose the mission they’re interested in, then choose the platform on which they had originally uploaded their content. Following which they would fill in the details about their submission, accept the Terms and Conditions and hit send. Players are encouraged to share the link to their submission on social media to accumulate votes – the deciding factor in getting your submission shortlisted.

Updates about new missions and winners will be shared regularly on VALORANT Arabia’s website (https://bit.ly/36EF3Hs) and social media channels, on Twitter (https://Twitter.com/VALORANTar), Facebook (https://Facebook.com/VALORANTar) and Instagram (https://Instagram.com/VALORANTar).

Fans also demonstrated their enthusiasm for the shooter by watching more than 470 million hours of VALORANT closed beta streams on Twitch, the world’s leading service and community for multiplayer entertainment, and Korean video-streaming service AfreecaTV.
