Kenya's Simbas have intensified preparations ahead of their final two Rugby Africa Gold Cup fixtures at home to Tunisia on Saturday 11 August and away to Namibia a week later.
The side, currently second on the log with 12 points coming off three successive wins recently completed a three day residential camp with the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) in Nanyuki and again head into residential camp this weekend in Nairobi.
They will also play a series of in-house matches from 2.00pm at the RFUEA on Saturday 4 August 2018 featuring squad members and invited players as they seek to fine tune themselves ahead of the last two crunch games.
This year’s Rugby Africa Gold Cup serves as the African qualifying round for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. The winner will earn direct qualification with the runner up proceeding to a global repechage tournament in Marseille, France in November against teams from Asia, the Americas and Europe for the last berth at next year’s global showdown.
