UN Humanitarian Chief, Stephen O’Brien to brief the press on his visit to South Sudan

The United Nations Humanitarian Chief Stephen O’Brien will brief the press on Wednesday 3 August as he concludes a three-day visit to South Sudan.
Mr. O’Brien arrived in South Sudan on 1 August to see first-hand the appalling humanitarian situation and call for urgent action to alleviate suffering.
During the three-day mission, Mr. O’Brien is expected to meet with senior Government officials and humanitarian partners and travel to the field to meet with people affected by the humanitarian crisis in Wau and Aweil.
