1. Japan welcomes the peaceful holding and announcement of the results of the Presidential elections, which constitute critical steps towards the return to democracy, in the Central African Republic.
2. Japan hopes that the people of the country will continue to act calmly with the spirit of cooperation towards the consolidation of peace and the advancement of democracy in the country.
