United States, Nigeria, GE to launch $20 million Health Initiative

The U.S. and Nigerian governments along with U.S. digital industrial company General Electric will launch a new mother-and-child health initiative that would expand access to digital antenatal screenings to more than 2 million expectant mothers across Nigeria.  The Healthymagination Mother and Child Initiative will reduce preventable mother and infant deaths.  U.S. Ambassador James F. Entwistle; Dr. Osagie Ehanire, Minister of State for Health; Dr. Ado Mohammed, Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, and the General Electric Global Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Immelt will officiate.  Interested media are welcomed to cover this event.
