BRUSSELS, Kingdom of Belgium, February 16, 2015/African Press Organization (APO)/ — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders is shocked by the announcement by a group linked to the terrorists of ISIL that 21 Egyptian Christian hostages were beheaded. The Minister condemns these horrible executions. He expresses his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
Minister Reynders hopes that the perpetrators will be found and brought to justice. Belgium will continue to work with the international community to fight against terrorism. Didier Reynders recalls that the response to terrorism must always be in accordance with human rights and international humanitarian law.
