Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun Holds Talks with Algerian Minister Delegate Abdelkader Messahel

BEIJING, China, December 13, 2012/African Press Organization (APO)/ — On December 10, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun held talks with visiting Algerian Minister Delegate Abdelkader Messahel.

Zhai made positive comments on China-Algeria strategic cooperative relations, saying that the development of relations between the two countries has great potential and broad prospects. China is willing to make joint efforts with Algeria to constantly consolidate political mutual trust, deepen pragmatic cooperation, keep closer cultural exchanges and strengthen cooperation in international and regional affairs so as to enhance the level of bilateral strategic cooperative relations.

Echoing Zhai’s views on bilateral ties, Messahel said Algeria admires China’s development achievements, attaches great importance to relations with China and is willing to strengthen cooperation in various fields between the two countries and enhance the level of bilateral strategic cooperative ties.

The two sides also exchanged in-depth views on international and regional issues of common concern.
